Hm. I like the description, I think that's an interesting idea.
I really like the shine on the skull, it makes it look more realistic, and the color and shine on the girl looks really good. The background fits I think, with it being like an amorphous dimension that things can just emerge out of.

But, it feels like the focus is just on a generic scantily clad fantasy lady lying sexily on an altar. Just, cliche and not very scary
